Honestly? A prequel

A whole series only on M. Gouda.

Start off with him being young, and very alike Shou in personality. Then he has an accident, minor brain injury, and his personality twists (Those ARE a thing after all). This would also help explain the discrepancy between how he was, and how his clones turned out.

So we get to see Shou's dark reflection, and all that transpired before hand.

Less modern political commentary, and more straight up political underworld drama as he builds his empire and how it eventually crumbles under the Perfect One.
