the whole of it is the church abducted the hero and held the orphans he was with hostage (he's Ariamel's male equivalent). In the game's timeline, they would try the same with Ariamel, though I think most of the kids are either abducted by other organizations or killed. The church also has THOSE kinda priests, so Ariamel is raped and molested until she kills herself. Isuka then becomes an avenger trying to track the kids down and save them but it's always too late, so he goes after the hero, who was also just a hostage in all this.

but, Grey exists so none of that happens. Him and the Valkyries save the hero, castrate and kill the pedo knight, he teaches the hero about heroing, him and the valkyries save the hero's orphan family, and Grey adopts everyone.
