Someone called the paneling horrific, but I quite like it. It does create a different sort of artistic dynamic for the story. Sure, I wouldn't want this sort of composition for all of my manga, but if it's this one story, it works. The photo-edited backgrounds are unfortunate, though. I wouldn't have ever imagined I would say such a thing, but I might sooner take simple AI created backgrounds than photos half-assedly thrown through filters.

I don't remember if I have seen before this kind of situation where the MC needs to make another person go through physical rehabilitation as well. Merely saving other source material antagonists is nothing new, naturally.

Just let the diet be slow and gradual okey? As a former fat guy I know how much and long it takes to slim down. And if you suddenly eat way too less you really feel your energy draining throughout the day.
More than anything I want to see a gradual change for once qnd not some dramatic got handsome in 2 chp shit.

Young kids will usually have no loose skin when they lose weight, even if they are super fat. They will grow in height and with muscle training, loose skin should be minimum for them.
