is this sub genre the new trend now? i swear i've read new manga with similar setup at least 3 different times within a year.

• reincarnated as villainous FAT NOBLE, entitled kid, that die miserably early.
• has cute, young, but more importantly, loyal maid who was supposed to be abused constantly by original character
• the MC lose fat within 1 chapter and become so much stronger compared to his original char setup even in future
• needless to say he changed the plot and become the hero instead and shocked it could work that way

I don't judge the guy for panicking and failing to realize he's already changed the plot. That's standard-issue villain writing. I judge him for being a filthy casual isekai enjoyer who doesn't even know villain isekai are getting more common.

Well, there's also the fact that he's kind of a bitch. Not in the weak or being pathetic way, but in how he's obnoxiously whining constantly.

He's such a filthy casual reader he doesn't even bother considering the different meta-isekais of how trying to stay in the plot, OR trying to change the plot, has the opposite effect. Absolutely zero attempt to even bother testing if he can change his situation. Just a wrecking ball with 2 brain cells, continuing to roll downhill with inertia.
