In the original main cast only Mirai is decent, even the female knight who serve MC as his maid now seem like a psycho sometimes.

I want the prince, the hero, the saintess all die a horrbile death.

The hero strikes me more as just a self-righteous idiot, the prince is certainly an asshole and the saintess is possibly evil depending on how this plays out.

Spoiler: spoilers from a If story/timeline

in the original Story, they all die after 2 year after Mc died. they fought mc 10,000 vs 1 for 7 days with massive casualties. that's only because he send everyone under his protection away.

they all got killed by 1 avenger, who was on Mc`s side. and could not accept the outcome. so she went and kill all of them starting with the Saint. just walked in and ''head'' off. then the knight maid when the avenger approaches the mansion.

and when the Fiance who understood why the avenger was doing it and accepted her death.
she asked her to do it quickly. the avenger said no, and proceed to kill her slowly un arming her and unlegging her before going for the neck.
after that the hero, with Princess as collateral damage then proceed to the castle for the prince he also dies because he doesn't have 10,000 meat shield+a hero`s party.

the country falls in ruin. and eventually becomes a republic. under the ironic leadership of Mc`s child. he left behind.

That's...a surprisingly happy ending. Though not for the ones involved..

I always thought that the premise is super good but the storytelling is kinda cringe and childish. So I read WN a bit and found out that the issue is not manga adaptation but this author's storytelling is bit lacking imo.
However, the premise is really good and better storytelling will help a lot.

Spoiler: long boring thought

If we read chapter 1 again, Ark goals to avoid death are : (1) Either befriending hero or stay away from him, (2) Building faction strong enough to avoid being destroyed by kingdom. We saw that he practically give up on befriending hero and stay at villain arc to build faction. The ways he built them are : (1) Make sure his faction members keep happy and getting stronger, (2) Either poaching Hero's faction members (worked for Maria) or break up Hero's faction (worked for Alicia), (3) Weakening Hero's faction by taking authority (dropping Michael from crown prince position) and money (compensation money because of Alto).

Knowing this will explain why Ark didn't just kill everyone (Saintess, Hero, and Prince) while he is clearly stronger than everyone. He just prefer to find ways to decrease Hero's power indirectly while also strengthening his faction at same time. He also gave some clue in this chapter that changing things might develop into unexpected scenario that he can't anticipate. I won't be surprised if all the heroines from previous chapter's cover will end up in Ark's faction (yes including the saintess somehow).

Still waiting for the blind princess. I hope that she is an interesting character.

Keep in mind that Absol changes moved the story in a different way. It's not that they changed personalities its just that new situations have let us see their aspects that we wouldnt have seen normally.

Absolute saved the other children so the arc group is more solid under his leadership. In the original Chris seemed like the leader of the group because the original arc didn't save them. Saint probably had to incite fewer of the arcs faction because they weren't as close to absol.

He screwed over the Crowned prince so the church faction is against him. This didn't happen the first time. What did happen was that the church was Secretly behind this current event that they are facing. Which means that the church used this as a means to destroy the Nobel group and the arc group.
