I'm not terribly surprised. We're this far into the story with a relatively weak narrative drive. I can't remember anything particularly impactful from the last 5 volumes and mainly only read it because it's on my feed

Par for the course. LN adaptations are usually contracted to do 2-4 manga volumes, which usually just ends up at 40-ish chapters if its weekly/biweekly, and 20-ish if its monthly. It will only get extended if either
1. The manga sells really well
2. The LN is already a REALLY big IP.

Sorry for the long delay. There's a lot of stuff happening keeping me busy, such as academics and finding a part-time job to support my college expenses. Anyway, I took my time translating this, trying to break through the limitations of doing everything using a mobile phone, so I went extra careful with typesetting and redrawing, though I don't know if they're any better than before. Absolute said to Uris (the beast girl) that he'd make it look like the attack on her never happened, and when Christina asks what Ark did to the ones who attacked them, Uris avoided the question+they both acknowledged that if the truth of the matter got out, they'd be done for as nobles socially.

Pretty sure the implication here is that the saint's team was actually just all killed by Ark, and they're using monsters as the cover-up story for it, which both avoids guilt with Ark's involvement, and creates a cover story for Uris+Christina being "attacked by monsters" as well.
