reina spoilers pleaseI know you don't know, so as one of the novel readers, I can just say that her situation is HEAVY (all in upper case).
After finding out about what she went through and what was done to her, it's hard to even consider jokes about Reina's situation.
----------------
Regarding the King and Chris/Alice's situation, it's more like the King can't really think of all the details about a single person, plus, an underground coliseum is not something that normal society would be aware of.
It's like this: outlaws are like, outside the law
The King may have had good intentions, but it's not like he was following her entire situation 100% of the time, Chris also wasn't a direct subordinate of his, nor was she something of an irreplaceable person. She happened to be accused of something she didn't do, and there was no way of keeping stability if he decided to condemn the noble just because of Chris' words. There was no proof either to help her.
The school director is indirectly related to Chris' downfall.
Not directly, indirectly.
She had nothing against Chris, she likely only knew her as a strong knight captain of this noble family vaguely acquainted with her and nothing else.
I will be talking this from memory, so there could be some inaccuracies from misremembering something.reina spoilers please
yeah, some women even use them to make clothes fit properlyMy god... Such magical creations is amazing to see! Even though I prefer big, I still appreciate flats, and I find this fact amazing
Just to inform you, Karen feeling pain when padded her chest. It confirmed on suspended illustration.Anime chest wraps are padded for comfort, so no pain, but she has to deal with the shortness of breath on her own. Beyond the question of how such mass was concealed (even when we see her undressed before), you have to wonder how the chest wraps also made her hips slender and hid them thighs?
Why can i actually see this happening...the student council president is either under a curse that makes her breasts small or going to die in the next few chapters

Hope you can see why I said what I said about jokes regarding herThe crazy hag in short is not only super powerful, but she pretty much doesn't care about others.
One of her main feats, where she defeated a strong enemy (I can't remember if it was an army or a monster) by herself, and many people actually dying, also had some people who were killed by her (deaths credited to the enemy).
Reina was a normal girl, she had a younger sister and her parents, I can't remember if they were killed by said enemy, or if by the hag. The hag came to meet Reina who supposedly had talent in magic despite being a commoner. The little sister if I'm not wrong was killed by the hag in front of her. Reina hates the hag, but she is not strong enough to do anything, and she was taken in for the hag's experiments, as Reina's birthplace had been completely destroyed either way.
Many years under the hag taught Reina one thing: Resistance is futile, she fears the hag, that's why she doesn't react, in fear of getting worse treatment, that's also why she doesn't betray her, because the hag is "invincible", nobody can do anything against her.
Then we enter human experiments. Reina is not human anymore, even in illustrations of the novel, such as the beach one where everyone is wearing swimsuits, Reina does not. Her insides have been completely replaced, she doesn't age anymore, her "heart" is a mechanism that uses magic stones and stuff, meaning that magic fuels both her life and her magic. Her belly is essentially transparent glass where you can see the mechanisms from inside. She is a "failed experiment".
She can be recharged though, so it's not like she can't use magic anymore or she would die, but she may need maintenance.
All she wants is for someone to defeat the old hag, but at the same time, she fears for such person, because she does not really believe that she can be defeated.

Holy fuck that is some DC Comics level shit; not the light-hearted romp that Schindler's List was, that's for sure...oh, i didn't expect this story to go THAT dark.
