I actually saw a great video where this was explained by an actual Japanese Budo practitioner (who also has an equally legit YouTube channel, of all things).

Japanese social cueing dictates that an adversary will announce themselves as such, along with their heritage and justifications, as a sign that they intend to fight you on the spot... and if they run away after doing so it is a super elaborate dis' on the opponent; they're basically saying that you aren't even worth their time, amd that they have gone well out of their way to inform you, and everybody there, bit you in particular, that you may suck their testicles/tiddies/left nut of a donkey while you ponder your own lack of worth.
And the longer their introduction, the more you can add to the above kind of stuff.

TL;DR:
It's a Japanese way to be intentionally disrespectful.

Lembro-me que no final dessa história na WN,

O irmão, após perder o braço, se torna um verdadeiro herói na batalha final (Luccille faz parte de um grupo maior liderado pela Bruxa da Noite, que também é parente da santa anterior, assim como a ancestral da heroína/Charlotte). Ele ainda ama Lucille e se reconcilia com a família.

O irmão então usou uma combinação de técnicas de luta e persuasão para convencer Lucile a desistir da luta (apesar de ela ter sido traída pela bruxa da noite). Mais tarde, ela foi presa e sua magia selada com a mesma coleira que usou na protagonista feminina, mas o irmão continuou visitando Lucile na prisão.

Lucille era, na verdade, a heroína do grupo de heróis do passado, traída por seu amigo de infância e pelo reino. Pelo menos, depois de ser revivida pela bruxa da noite, ela conseguiu matar todos no reino. Que bom que se foram.

Como ambos se consideravam pecadores, foi por isso que o irmão e Lucille acabaram juntos, embora o irmão agora quisesse se tornar rei para libertar Lucille da prisão.
Mas pelo menos a disputa pelo trono está ocorrendo em condições mais saudáveis.

Acho que preciso reler a web novel de novo.
