Despite the pets keep dying, they all die within normal age of the animals. 2 years for hamster is normal. Few years for bird. 6 years keeping for adult cat esp if u adopt when its already 1+yo is normal, though the death is kinda scary. I mean i just hope they aint die in much pain.
