so even if he didn't know what the person looked like exactly if it was only described, I'm sure the author could just chalk it up to
he knew because there's backstory involving the cousin(which he already knows based on what we've seen so far) remember this is the same guy who goes above and beyond for Di to make sure she doesn't die or get assaulted or be sad, he'd have crossed all his T's regarding the characters and the lore of the world
