I mean, Karina feeding Reshutoka is what reminded her of the princess. It's not solely about her looks but how she behaved at first appearance. Karina even mentioned the similarities. Remember that immediately after sharing her food with Reshutoka, Karina was attacked by assassins.

As for the story itself, based on Reshutoka own words, the princess is her ideal bride and Karina fits that image in her eyes. It's a reason why she doesn't intend to let Karina leave.
Thank god you said that its like people forgot she fed her food when she was on the verge of starving that made her go "ohh good person" (like a dog lol) then she saw her as similar to the princess because of that then with the assassins... yeah

she was on the verge of starving
I call bs on that.
  1. She only takes one bite of the sandwich before leaving, seemingly perfectly fine;
  2. She doesn't look emaciated in her wolf or in her human form;
  3. Chapter 3.1 shows she's not hurting for food, if fact she seems to have plenty so there's no reason she would be starving in the first place.
If anything this scene felt like a test to me, "lets see what you do if you find me vulnerable and entirely at your mercy", something like that.

Considering that prophecy book we definitely need more context for everything we've seen so far and lets be honest I've seen plenty of videos with dogs where they are "starving to death" when it just they really want to eat NOW because its been some hours after a run about :kek:

Ah dang. So no spoilers? I'm kinda interested where this is going but I dislike the toxicity.
At most the spoiler is the 1st half chapter before translation goes up since the manga comes out every 2 weeks but translation comes out when 2nd part goes up.

Disliking the toxicity though is like wanting warm ice cream lol. It might get less toxic as it goes on but their relationship is the crux of the narrative. Their meeting sparking all this into motion.

Just curious, but how exactly does "Translation" work if you have no written language? She's not exactly reading it to someone who memorizes it to recite orally later.

They interpret the written language into the human language, the human language into beast tribe language, and then rearrange the composition into one fit for oral tradition. So there's about 3 steps removed here.

Seeings words and hearing words is 2 different skill sets. For example, someone can be literate and read a language, but have difficulties carrying on a conversation with someone in that language. The reverse also applies.
