Not necessarily, she might've lied about having ulterior motives to push Asuka away so to prevent her from being caught up in bullyingan OG protagonist character that is capable of ulterior motives
So unrealistic. Next time, someone will say that people in real life also have multiple, sometimes conflicting motivations to do things. /san OG protagonist character that is capable of ulterior motives while still being a nice person?
Personally don’t recall any of those kinds of villainess stories, but I’m sure I’ve seen one or two given the sheer amount I’ve seen, lol.So unrealistic. Next time, someone will say that people in real life also have multiple, sometimes conflicting motivations to do things. /s
Jokes aside, I really hope this is not an act. "The heroine of the Otome Game is now a villain" has been done so often in villainess stories that the heroine being a decent person now feels like a twist.
Oooh that’s likely and believable. Wonder if that’ll end up being the case. Also but weren’t those people her lackeys in the first chapter, or just generic bully designs? Lol.Not necessarily, she might've lied about having ulterior motives to push Asuka away so to prevent her from being caught up in bullying
Even if that meant breaking off that friendship, I suppose…damn. They’ll probably reconcile in a chapter or two, but still. It’s pretty clear with the manga paneling, that the Otome MC clearly said that’s to push Asuka away because she felt guilty that she is getting strays from her getting bullied. She clearly likes Asuka as a friend, and as a friend she felt she had to lie so her friend wouldn’t also get hurt.
Never seen a manga do this before ngl, so would be interesting to see. Unfortunately probably not the case here tho. Rip.I like the development here, but for a second i thought maybe the heroine was also reincarnated and trying to romance the villainess 🫢
