You know you going too far if your kid even traumatized by it. I'm pretty sure he father never learn about it even after see it by both of his eyes. What a scumbag father.

Thank you for the update!
Yeah, when I saw her her baby fire bird, my immediate thought was "Phoenix", meanwhile her father who clearly doesn't have his brain screwed in correctly thought "failure"

it's not fire she's traumatized by, boy, it's something a "boy" like you wouldn't understand

So it's not even an incident where "fire" was the cause of the harm. It was just her shitty father who was using fire. That's absolutely horrendous. I want that man waterboarded. And with water so cold that each dunking slowly flays the skin from his flesh.

The arm chair psychiatrists are going to be out in force today.
This is a much better explanation than the one before. Previously the kid said Brigitte can't manifest her spirit because she's a slut. That made no sense. This one does. She cares so much about people that she even wants to show mercy to her enemies, so being loathed by her parents certainly would have hit her hard. So, when that's combined with being tortured by her own father, using fire, the mere sight of any flame would trigger that extreme sense of rejection.

Did I manage to manifest my armchair spirit? Please tell me, expert!

Love the victim blaming here. Yes it's HER fault for being scared of fire that's why it hasn't shown its self all these years, nor did anything to protect her.

Also maybe it was me but I thought it was implied that if you have a fire spirit you were protected from fire yourself hence why her psycho dad was even more upset that she burned in the fire.

Seems like it's less about overcoming fear of fire and more about overcoming her trauma around her father. She associates him with fire, so fire reminds her of him.
