You know it reminds me of one anime: DNA2. This stupid prince keeps 'nagging' the MC, accusing of plotting coup, but does he realize that his 'nagging' could lead what he afraid to be reality? The MC finally snaps and the only way to get rid of the annoying prince is by getting rid of his royal family.

Yeah, probably it wouldn't go that way and MC just stupidly and conveniently falls in love with him.

Sylvie is a treasure. I'm loving her as a character. She knows what she wants and screw conventions. Edgar is insufferable. I honestly think I would enjoy this more if he were not around. And of course he would insist on coming along on the rescue mission because what? she's going to plot something during the rescue mission? And he's a rookie by his own admission. He going to only slow her down. Sigh.
