I'm honestly surprised that ethical NTR against bad marriages(abusive, deadbeat, dysfunctional, etc. partners) aren't a much larger genre.

This subgenre actually has a name: Netori. In a ways, it's a polar opposite from Netorare (NTR). In NTR, the perspective is from that of the original love interest, who has his lover stolen from him and basically turned into a cum dumpster.

But in Netori, the perspective is from the guy stealing the girl. Except that the girl is usually being mistreated, and the guy wants her to be happy. (Although this isn't always the case in Netori, but you get the basic idea.)

If you use it as a search tag on sites like hitomi.la or tsumino.com, you should be able find all the Netori you want.
