Pretty sure he's not realizing the entire scope of this thing. I think he thinks he's doing a good thing by taking the blame off of her. In high school, I don't think every kid sits down and thinks of the implications of doing inappropriate stuff with a teacher they like. Plus, he's only drawing her, after all. I'm sure that's what he's thinking.

In a conservative culture like Japan, in an especially boondocks school, it's not surprising Yukari would equate "seeing nudity" with "all manner of indecent acts and baby making." She doesn't seem like she has the emotional maturity to see it any other way. I predict a whole mess of trouble, and more people will find out Gin is doing something unusual with sensei.

I think Yukari can indeed take that as a rejection when Gin said to her face that he is obsessed with Sakura's body.
