It’s kind of BS isn’t it? Oh be prepared to fight the demon king for centuries! But now suddenly the spell isn’t going to work? What if he hadn’t been able to defeat the demon king in these loops already? Just disappear anyway? That wasn’t in the original contract now was it.

So the demon and Albus aren’t related like I thought, he remembers just because he’s built different :dogewow: And yeah Albus sacrifices to save Gina is pretty much set in stone now :meguuusad: I hope she remembers him and tries to save him after tho
Thanks for the translation

I wonder if that it's going to go down like that, but mage lady's teacher will be the linchpin to pull Albus back into the timeline :pepehmm:

Thanks for the double update! ♡

Thanks for the chapter!

Typos & edit suggestions: @Yosu26
  • p7 Limit? -> Limits?
  • p7 unique -> [The "Q" looks weird in this font.]
  • p11 A girl hosted the Demon King -> [This reads weirdly.]
  • p20 I envisioned. -> I've envisioned // I envision
  • p22 It's worth striving for as well. -> [Striving for what?]

Though this throws some minor wrenches into my predictions (Albus's magic is from the witch and the witch is likely the "messenger of god") it also kinda strengthens it a bit. Namely that it means the spell she cast on herself could be the same one as she cast on Albus, because the "messenger" here mentions that the spell on Albus (which only rewinds memories) will eventually detach him after too long, at which point he himself would be floating around time.

So I feel like it could just be that the witch herself just already became detached from using it on herself, and Albus is just on his way there.

Honestly the biggest wrench is that the messenger doesn't look like the witch, but when it comes to hooded figures that doesn't mean a whole lot, lmao. But it could also just be that the witch is maintaining the spell on Albus, and the messenger is just future Albus interacting with himself.

if the author want it there is also the option to locked fiona just before the demon king defeated. keeping her in weaker level might be more safer too. and then people can do research of her
She shouldn't level up much (no grindding) in the loop where she's killing people in the capital. So that doesn't works too.

I find it incredible that we still really don't know how it will end up. Is this the final loop or isn't it? Will Albus be seperated from the world or will it be a happy end? Is the person who gave Albus the spell a divine being, a former hero or Albus himself? I have no idea and I want more.
I believe in happy ending, after all hero albus believe in it too. It's more convenient to believe in it. Just like how it's more convenient to believe in heaven like certain corrupt priest.

I feel a potential axe incoming. If that manga finishes in around 3 chapters from now on, we can assume it was axed and therefore the oracle reveal had to be now, instead of maybe in +20 chapters down the line, like the mangaka had originally planned.

the not level up is for her to be easily subdued and won't break away from her lock. if she has higher level, it would be much dangerous

You do know that there is a delay between the Japanese release and the scanlation, right? It’s reached chapter 37 in Japan so your prediction is already off.

So, killing the vessel is just kicking the can down the road. They need a more permanent solution:
Figure out the witch’s failed spell and cast it on the demon king’s spirit. Freeze that sucker in time.
Alternatively, figure how to harness the rewind spell giving out, and use that to shunt the demon king’s spirit outside of reality.
Yeah I was just thinking that there needs to be a more permanent solution. We can't keep doing this forever

The Messenger is most likely a Hero from the past who tried the same thing Albus did now, or he is Albus himself from the future.

Maybe the Oracle was the last hero. Or since there's timey-wimey, it's just Albus

It would be interesting if the Oracle is Albus who once they complete their mission ends up on the outside of the world for all eternity... But then what if the hero has ALWAYS been Albus?
