For a second I thought Fiona became Albus or had a shared consciousness. If he's back as a child, he has more chances to prepare & prevent the Demon King from acquiring either vessels. Hope this redo will be a great & fun loop.
I'm so happy to wrong & deserve all the eggs tossed at my face for worrying this was getting axed. I would do again if it means saving a story like this. Thanks for the translations.

I also thought Fiona became Albus for a moment. I thought, "Whoa, what a weird ass time loop where she's been trying to save herself all along."

Edit: my phone changed Albus to Alvord? The actual hell? Glad people liked it, anyway, despite it making less sense than intended.

Interesting. If not only Albus, but all his party members retain their memories, it is truly possible for them to go against the demon king before he got ahold of Fiona’s brother, or at least before the demon king assembled proper army.
Though that also means fighting as kids, the low level low stats gear-dependent (and item) build approach.

Anyway, I’m pleased with the twist and happy that the series continues (deservedly!).

I assume this is before he became the hero/got the power, so I wonder if in saving him they'll actually prevent him from getting the power from the "mysterious figure"(who's likely just him detached from time). Would make for a potentially good "high stakes final loop" scenario, where in order to get to the true end they have to throw away the safety belt of being able to just rewind on a failure.

I'd be pretty pissed if I'm Albus. Dude has been through his very own groundhog days to save Fiona for roughly 100 years (3 years/loop x 36(?) loops), finally succeeding and thinking he can rest, only to be looped back even further. At least his homies were willing to throw away their very accomplished lives to save him, so I guess you can't stay mad at them for too long.
Story-wise this is a very interesting development. I'm glad this wasn't axed and the author is willing to push further than just "loop back to save the girl" kind of development.
