@lithe some people have the most ridiculous ideas about "spoilers", and they want to force their views on everyone else no matter what anyone else thinks.

I've suggested that they implement a way for users to turn off the cover images so that users who can't go to the library or shop at amazon or other bookstore because they think book covers can "spoil" can be free of their worries while the other 99.99% of people can enjoy the cover art of the various tankoban covers as they're released (or as the translations progress); im really hoping they implement it but it kinda seems like they aren't taking suggestions anymore.

gave away a huge twist, but didn't ruin my enjoyment of it. But unlike a certain someone else in these comments, I'm capable of looking at things from other peoples perspective too. ?

Nowhere have I tried to "force" my view on anyone else, I've simply laid out my argument for why I think it's a poor choice of a cover, and you've given me nothing but sass and a downright condescending tone in reply for no good reason. All while choosing to avoid actually answering my arguments so you can continue to talk down to me? The only one that's unable to accept any view that's not his own here while forcing his on others is you. I'm not even looking to have an argument about the whole system regarding covers, I was discussing this specific one, for this series alone, but you decided to make a big deal out of it, because evidently it's hard for you to accept that someone might disagree with you.

Your suggestion for an improvement is decent and I appreciate it, even if it's not optimal. You can piss off with that condescending and downright false analogy though. If I go to buy manga on Amazon, I don't go looking up the final volume first, and if I go into a bookstore, the books will most likely not be placed with their fronts showing. In the vast majority of cases, a cover won't spoil a damn thing. But there are plenty of more delicate cases, and I consider this to be one.

I doubt we'll ever come to any form of agreement, so I'll drop this discussion now.

@dysisa you've never been in a bookstore it seems. not every single one, no, but a lot of tankoban covers face forward, typically the newest ones with the older volumes stacked sideways. and i still have no idea what "huge twist" you're talking about. as @justnatsuki pointed out, even dead characters appear on cover art despite still being dead in the story. a character appearing in cover art does not really indicate anything except that the artist wanted to use them for that cover. it COULD indicate something spoilerific and in those very rare cases it wouldn't be used as a cover image here, but your assumption that all covers are always spoilers doesn't match up with reality. this manga, for example, the cover art for the last volume could have been simply because they were friends, it does NOT indicate that they will both live until the end of the story.

Not gonna type out a full reply here since we have been shitting up these comments way too much already as is, but if you're keen on continuing this discussion since I don't think you quite get my standpoint on this, then we should take it to DMs at least.
What I will say though, as for the huge twist I mentioned earlier;

It very blatantly gives away that Mira will be someone who comes back with an important and sinister meaning later on, which in itself made the twist that the games are infiltrated by the administrators, and with her being the Queen of Hearts, really obvious very early on to me.

@BarryTheChopper I wouldn't know unfortunately. I primarily used batoto before mangadex, but that batoto eventually took down all their releases along with their respective scanlation groups. I tried doing a google search and even looked at mangaupdates, but no such luck. I'm assuming you're bilingual and want to read ahead of the current English releases. I personally wouldn't know if the Spanish releases are ahead of the English releases, and I think, if I remember right, the group responsible for the Spanish releases was listed as 'No Group,' which makes it even more difficult to track down - they might not even have a site and/or just be one person for all we know.
