I think we all knew this was probably going to get axed because of how niche its appeal is, but this final chapter still hurt to read. I loved the ride from start to finish, though. If only the world knew amazing fiction.
At least it ended just as strong as it started. Inui-sensei had ideas; great ideas, at that! I wish he got more time to build up the mysteries, develop the characters, elaborate on Ouga's spirit of protecting his family, and of course, flesh out more epic battles. Even though that was not the case, this final chapter was still great.
I found that that random side panel of Ouga and Volgano blowing past the clouds in the sky to be so well-drawn. I also liked how Ouga strangled Volgano like how he strangled his opponents back in his heel days. Lastly, their one final headbutt of the earth was awesome.
In my opinion, this has to be the most undeserved Jump axe since at least Kaedegami. The day when Inui-sensei returns to Jump once again will be a great day for me, and I trust it will be a great day for Jump's readerbase too. He simply deserves more success.
