Thank you for the chapter, love this so far.
I assume the previous owner either married Aoi (a fake marriage ofc, Aoi seems to be classified as property so she can't marry on Earth, or "Sector Beta" of space it seems. Hopefully Aoi and Ami will go somewhere where sapient-sentient A.G.I rights are recognised and get hitched to each other properly) and disabled his ownership of her or lost ownership of her when sex androids were outlawed.
[EDIT: Apparently this is tagged as Shoujo-Ai on some sites lmao, the protagonists regularly do sexual massages (or full on sex as we haven't been shown exactly what they do during bath time) with each other and they somehow tagged it Shoujo-Ai.]

Humans can be disassembled too lol, just messier to do, it's just that we can't just put Humans back together with our current tech after disassembling one.
