Something about the middle panel on page 2 just really spoke to me.

The almost-forced "pause" between her face on the right with the "..." and then having to pan allll the way to the left to get the rest of the interaction, with all the visual detail in-between, felt like wonderful use of space and pacing to complement all the somewhat deadpan humor this series builds upon.
Also was fun looking at all the alien shapes/forms in the queue in the central lobby. I wonder if the one at the teller on the far left-side of the counter had a windmill for a face, or something.

Glad Ami went back Home, though. Can't be leaving Aoi behind, however much Ami wants to convince everyone who'll not be there to listen that she doesn't care.

It's cool turning a door knob bends the whole building space upside down, felt like the aliens can understand and manipulate 4+th dimension as regular daily thing, to be used in their architecture / camouflage. nice MiB vibe in the inter-galatic arrivals customs office.

I'm not really into sports manga, so that one's probably not in the cards from me, unfortunately. I have considered TLing the mangaka's other other work, Sunny Sixteen (about a girl who gets into photography in high school), but even that is unlikely in the near future. I'm looking forward to having a bit of a break from TL work now that this series is caught up.

(Also the mangaka posted on bluesky that sales of the first volume of Sunny Sixteen weren't great and it might get cancelled - so I might wait to see what happens with that before making a decision)
