Something about the middle panel on page 2 just really spoke to me.
The almost-forced "pause" between her face on the right with the "..." and then having to pan allll the way to the left to get the rest of the interaction, with all the visual detail in-between, felt like wonderful use of space and pacing to complement all the somewhat deadpan humor this series builds upon.
Also was fun looking at all the alien shapes/forms in the queue in the central lobby. I wonder if the one at the teller on the far left-side of the counter had a windmill for a face, or something.
Glad Ami went back Home, though. Can't be leaving Aoi behind, however much Ami wants to convince everyone who'll not be there to listen that she doesn't care.
