I strongly empathize with this chapter. I despise seeing people I know when I'm not specifically meeting with them. The best thing they can do in the case it happens is ignore me and walk away. Thankfully, she was able to salvage her dinner.
Personally I think this would be better if it didn’t go so in depth with the food preparation and tasting and spent more time on her as a character and her shenanigans, but that’s just me.
Depends on what it is but i hear some meal sets are fairly cheap/affordable in Japan (one friend i know said he got 300 yen (about 3 bucks) ramen from a restaurant before), versus something like sushi (if anything i hear going outta your way to eat 'junk food' and such which makes it harder to get fat compared to american takeout or so )
