Umm... What's with the pacing and how much longer will this get resolved T__T
When's the romance going to start? and what's with the useless crown prince showing up
I really did not understand her value.....
I mean whether she really is a Kalisto or not, shouldn't she give more benefit if the Emperor let her be a Kalisto and then uses her as a vine to grab the Duke even more? Like send her to a marriage to the crown prince??
But why did he give her back to the Count? What power that the Count has?
This is just confusing..
@Athena707 right? i would’ve thought the emperor would try to force her into marriage like the disgusting bastard he is. this trope doesn’t really make sense
honestly i’m just worried the crown prince is gonna randomly be made the ML i just feel like that kinda bs could be pulled but i really don’t care that he’s a child he can go croak with his daddy
@Athena707 Because the Emperor spites the Duke. The Count definitely knows Hailey's the real daughter of the Duke, and maybe her mother as well. @MXCL I know right. Instead they keep pushing her around strangers, fawned over her cuteness, keeping themselves occupied with work and trying to prove her her legitimacy with elaborate steps, which did absolutely nothing in the end. The adults surrounding her are fucking useless.
Huh.. the way the prince talked seems that he knows that the count is lying.. so why are you still giving her to the count.. wtf!! I want that second prince more now..
@Aniryu I am now hungry. As thanks, I shall now try to make you hungry as well. Let us spread hunger to the world! Wooooo!
(Basically, I was reminded of jerky.)
@Athena707 Its about factions. Basically, the Duke and the Emperor were already in different factions. Rather than "joining sides with the enemy" it would be better to "discredit" him via these events (lowering his influence and all that).
**As the Count was in the Emperor's faction, he would also eventually gain access to whatever Kalisto/blood powers that might exist by making use of the girl as property. If any such power exists, I can't remember**
