Weekly Shonen Magazine's doing pretty well for itself, huh? Calling it now, both this and Love or Magic will succeed Rent-A-Girlfriend and Quintuplets.

Like... this serialization annuncement was so fast. I was expecting Blue Box to be announced for a serialization over at Jump before this. xD I'm betting the manga itself and Negi's recommendation was a one-two punch in terms of popularity. I hope the author has things planned out already.

Comments above make me a little nervous, as I'm 30 chapters in and enjoying this a lot more than I expected.

Of note: excellent art, complex characters & interesting backstory (without heavy exposition or useless detail embroidery), and a nice, organic story flow. I haven't yet had the sense of events tumbling from one contrived crisis to the next, and while the narrative focus keeps shifting, its progress never seems forced or arbitrary. So far, it seems a promising story unusually well told.

I do wish the MC were a bit less arrogant & condescending. And I wish 1000x more that the writing didn't so often seem to validate his narcissism. Foreshadowing's a little heavy-handed, too. But those are my only complaints so far. Among the more pleasant surprises in recent memory.

The art's good, but I'm very distracted by the poor anatomy and body perspective. It's like the artist put a lot of effort on making a drawing pretty, but not on practicing drawing anatomy

the plot is unexpectedly so good, if you just started read the manga for a few chapter maybe you will think something like "this is just like average Harem Waifu type of shit" but when you get deep into the plot... you know this will be a good Manga!

i really hope the anime adaptation will adapt atleast 24 eps...

This manga supernatural elements get underused and underplayed.

"Huh, i saw gods several times? Eh, it happens"

But overall the romance and characters are good.

It shows the protagonist a profetic dream of a harem ending(every other profetic dream has been acurrate) Which i believe was a mistake, it sets an expectation and kinda ties the autor hands. It also removes stakes.

This feels like the generic harem shrine story, no joke, I'm confused alot by the comments above cos again, it feels so very "follow the formula" to the tee that it's just plain.
