Well... at least the author is trying to hint that we'll have to endure another school year out of this. And Gyaru is THICC in her Summer uniform no? Still.. obviously not a chance in hell she's gonna beat Megumi. But it spices things up a bit I suppose?
damn, fujishiro-san got some belly button piercing, that's hot. well, she can't win for sure, but she still can pull ichigo move from darling in the franxx on shindou tho, lmao
Yup i can see the ending. everyone gets to their dream university and season 2 of Amano starts the university arc. here's to hoping its more Golden time and less white album 🤣
On the one hand I know Amano is going to win, what with being the actual main character and all, and for what it's worth I don't dislike the two of them together.
On the other hand I love the chemistry he has with Fujishiro. These last few arcs could've been an excellent love story on their own with really cute "Don't judge the book by the cover" vibes. I'm a bit torn.
I'm fine with Fujishiro, but the fact that the author is using her childhood friend as a mere backup plan for when she eventually loses pisses me off. He is a good guy and deserves far more than that.
Man
Why is the author just building up the heartbreak for the gyaru even more she doesn't even deserve it
Mc dude isn't even paying attention to her its just making me pity her
I dont get why they would put the hurdle on the position of the team tournament instead of her position in the individual tournament.
Its not like they are gonna recruit the whole team, so dunno why judge her like that.
@tomerfam
I expect there will be some redemption arc (offscreen) for that guy. Otherwise forcing them together would be a very poor decision by the author.
Also, fuck is Shindou doing on humanities course? Wasn't he in science? And why is he self studying for entrance exam grade mathematics if he in humanities? There must be some humanities related course in Tokyo U right?
@Tearsax I think that's the only event the story has focused on. In the real world, they would just be looking at her as an individual when she competes so even if her team did poorly and she did well in her bouts she would still get an offer. Her captain-ing a top 8 national-level team would definitely be 'the cherry on top' for her athletically. But since its a story and we only really have room to focus on one aspect of the competition they choose to roll that into the drama so it kind of makes sense.
Man, I REALLY hate that stupid short girl with the chest fetish. I mean, Manabu getting flustered at Amano's "openings" all the time is annoying too, but at least they have other dynamics that establish the relationship. I can't remember a single thing that short girl did outside of chest fetish stuffs.
