@Kaarme Well, it IS understandable. For a being to not be affected by total isolation from senses for long duration of time without going insane, that being would either need to have a mind that's unfathomable to us or to have a brain that does not rely on senses.
Just cutting off the main senses temporarily can make people go insane real quick.
