Alright archetypal glasses guy, go find the evidence Avril has and bring the family to ruin. Chop chop. While you're doing that I'm going to watch this girl who's so smart she's rounded back to being dumb absolutely fail at being a villainess
as they always says the line between a genius and a cute dummy is paper thin

It's the same dumb joke over and over again, yet I'm still enjoying it.

Villainess has almost no meaning most of the time in this story. Hopefully Avril's delusion will be at least slightly accurate by the end but she couldn't act to save her life. A 'wicked woman who stole her family's secrets and caused it to collapse' is a good start.

Maid's putting up some resistance against our incompetent villainess. Though from a real world perspective, she's right. Leftovers were generally given to others.

Swapping plates is perfectly fine if it means better food distribution. The idea that it's only for a close couple just seems so Japanese.

"I think it's a bit indecent."
One, you're a villainess, and two, you're a couple.

Well, it was going to be a marriage for appearance sake, so it's not like he's wrong.

He shouldn't tell her he knows she's not a villainess. He should tell her he wants her to not be one. Even telling her he wants her to be true to herself would probably backfire, considering how dense she is. As usual, proper communication would solve so much.

You know, I disliked the scene with the steak because while the maid is actually just bullying her, she clearly is not enjoying her own dinner because it's not cooked to her liking...
Maid bullying the villainess is a common cliche in villainess mangas, so Lord Dylan accommodated Avril's wishes and assigned a maid to bully her

All I know is that eventually we'll make it back to the opening pages of chapter 1...
