As for the current story, it's good that she's finally building up the courage to open up at least with her mom about the situation and try to plan the full reveal along with her real feelings. It'll likely be a mess when it happens but unless it happens somehow out of their control, I'm sure Youshin will accept her.

From how it looks from the LNs, we won't get to the one-month anniversary arc until volume four, and I think we're around volume two right now. We still got quite a ways to go, guys.

And now I'm worried about the curse of the axe striking before we get that far.

man. something about this story just rubs me in all the wrong ways, even despite its high rating. I find the romance and dialogue to honestly be pretty cringe (not a fan of dramatic proclamations like "I'll protect her!" since they feel cheap and honestly fake asf. The underlying drama is probably the only thing that makes me vaguely interested in this all, but otherwise everything just feels like a mishmash of cliches or predictable scenarios with awkward writing. Could just be me not clicking with it, but that's my two cents.

Sadly still not mature enough, considering how they are going all "no handholding until marriage" over it, and the dad is even worse actually emitting some kind of aura any time he thinks they might be having a healthy relationship.

Dad is also later amazed the ML has been able to restrain himself despite all the opportunities he's had and flatly states he couldn't have resisted if their places were switched. His persona on this first meeting is all a facade.

That was my feeling reading the LNs as well. Shockingly, that's not the case.

Yep it ends well and they continue going out after the one month. Story is pretty much wholesome fluff all the way through.

to me it doesn't make sense, Nanami and Youshin are the main couple, if the PoV was a 3rd person or some weird take on something that never develops the character, like the friend group from the game going on a quest, would make more sense, that's how usually these stories/mangas are written. That's why got me confused.

i know every writer can do whatever he wants with his story, i just found weird this "naming scheme"

It is mainly escapism fantasy after all. The male and female MC are both pure hearted angels that are basically fated to be together. It's unrealistic but it's a cute read in my opinion.
