thanks for the wrap, it's always great when we get the whole main story translated, having bonus epilogue chapter would be a nice touch but don't force yourself into this if it's a bother to you, thanks for your work and your dedication in having this shit done.

as someone who followed the series from the beginning, I can say it was a pretty good story. There are a lot of familiar elements that you'd see in J-dramas, so there wasn't really any real surprises for me, but that doesn't change the fact that it was a good story.

wow, thanks for taking this one over the finish line. i really enjoyed this series. it was a good adult drama which felt very realistic in how it chose to portray everyone. no over the top soap opera style villains, just normal people and their problems. im going to miss these characters, so ill be looking forward to the bonus material, if it materializes.

thanks again to LasterRadvil for getting this put together, and also to the Soseki Scans team who put effort into this series for us on all the previous volumes.

Bittersweet ride with a sweet ending. A nice changes of pace from the other (guilty pleasure) junk I read. Thanks for carrying it across the finish line.

Thanks you to everyone who scanlated this. This manga's topic is not so widely made, so I'm glad I get to read it through the end

The trashy immoral manga ended at last. Romanticizing cheating really. The drama have way better ending than this.

Thanks for seeing it through! I like the fact that everyone hated different characters for different reasons... except for Kou, who's an asshole who through and through so we all hated him the most for the same reasons.

How does the drama end
Michi got back with her husband. The two toxic people stay together so they will no longer affect other people. Makoto divorced his ex, though his ex became supportive of his new relationship with Michi (even became their cheerleader). In a way the drama fixed the problem with the manga.

Its not romanticizing the cheating at all. It literally show you that theyre breaking inside from each partner, they tried to give it another chance for their partner but still end up suffering.

The only alternate ending for me is both of em still divorce with their partner and move on without meet up again. Why even bother staying in toxic marriage if you just end up suffering lmao.

Except the manga is romanticizing cheating. The main couple Michi and Makoto had affairs with each other despite them being married to another. Instead of calling them out for cheating on their spouses, their affairs are romanticized and celebrated by the authors and the readers, even though affairs are wrong no matter how 'toxic' your marriage is. Heck Michi's friend is dating multiple guy at the same time, and the manga depicted her as 'good' person.

The drama gave a better alternate ending, and fixed what's wrong with the manga. Not the first time a manga end up having terrible ending (Usagi Drop is another example). The actual solution would be to divorce their spouses first, and take a break before entering a new relationship. But the manga did it wrong. What's worse are the hypocrites fans who celebrate the affair, but went on to bash other characters who only started an affair later after his wife did it first, the poor woman who was treated badly by the mangaka for who knows why, and an innocent spouse who did nothing wrong.

It's not about romanticizing cheating. It's about the complexity of life and feelings, where things aren't black and white.

I see much more trash in that comment than in the manga.
Cheating is bad, definitely. But still that can happen, and people committing it aren't always the scum of the earth.
And there are a lot of other bad things in life, and much worse. Even in marriages.
