I’m fine with it being toxic and even about revenge, actually. I just don’t want it to be unhinged toxicity for once (even though I usually love that). The story feels pretty subtle and mature in tone, so that kind of switch would feel weird.

Given the dynamic, a bit of toxicity is basically a given, and it’s already there (Yayoi deliberately not giving any information about herself, for example.), I hope it’s gonna be a bit psychological yet sweet but even just something casual would be fine I just really like the atmosphere of this first chapter

As much as I can’t wait to see Yayoi’s pov, I’m still stuck on the first pages like was our MC just a popular girl with a bit of a superiority complex, or was she a full-on a**hole to her less popular classmates but doesn’t remember it?
I can’t wait to actually see who they were in hs compared to now and if they had any significant interactions.

Anyway, this manga has all the tropes I love: workplace yuri, a popular girl turned ‘failed’ adult, the trope where two characters knew each other as kids/teens and meet again years later in a totally different context, and sex depicted as realistic and casual. (No idea why I love the fact that they were so eager to have sex they kept their clothes on at first.)

Great 1st chapter and I hope new serie I’m already into it and it’s pretty cool how many comments are on the same page about this one 🔥
