Okay, I might have exaggerated a bit on the “psycho” part, but it’s true that a lot of Korean Manhwa feature some twisted relationships when it comes to romance, which brings hurt and tension on the readers as well. That just makes them more thrilling to me, but I digress.
If you want recs, feel free to check out any comic website that hosts Manhwa and go through the Yuri genre with the highest ratings with “drama“, “psychological”, or some similar tags that also takes place during the modern times. Nine out of ten, characters will do some crazy things you won’t see in Japanese Manga or Chinese Manhua.
If you ask me, I’d probably have a few recs personally, but take it with a grain of salt. (Not to mention the old side for Manhwa, which is Batoto, is now gone for good, so you’ll have to find another good site for engagement. Like Comix.to)
