There's certainly some interesting ones. Thank you <3

For 'Jaria'... it is impossible. it's out of print and there's no digital version available for purchase sadly... even if there's a secondhand physical version to buy, i'll need to physically scan it... it's just too much work even for a one volume... I've not physically scanned anything since 2018 iirc lol... apologies on that.

As for nightmare busters, I love Akase Yuriko's art style, however I'm not much of a this sort of Sci-Fi fan...

As for the rest, I quite like the first one but I'll need to read through all three of them first. so for now those are in my KIV list. Thank you

I'm not interested in the beast player, sorry OTL

誰が勇者を殺したか is already something I'm eyeing on :p

The tags on 'Sweet Deal' is insane. it appears to be a cancelled series and is a psychological drama about the wheeling dealing of real estates... not sure why it's tagged as shoujo and mystery and romance... is there romance? hmm

錬金術無人島サヴァイブ smells of romance subtext... I'll need to check it out further... but i'll be upfront i'm not much of a fan of post apocalyptic stuff.

I'm not interested in Samurai Sensei. sorry

傀儡戦記 is a bit confusing... I gleaned through the chinese version, since it's an anthology, it's kinda hit or miss but story and art wise... I'll pass on this one as well. sorry

Thank you for your suggestions, greatly appreciate it. I'll keep Sweet Deal on my KIV list. the premise is interesting enough, but I'll read it first and see.

Hello! Reader of “Mahoui Rex no Hentai Karte” here. Honestly love your translation along with the side notes you add for extra info, but when I went and double checked to see if your translation is the most recent one, or if the mtl was still coming out, I noticed that inly the mtl translation was available for chpts 16, 17, 18, and 19. Saw that your translation started back up again at chpt 20, so I was wondering if you ever translated those chpts but only posted them on bato? And if so, would you be so kind as to upload them here? Since bato is officially forever down, now and can’t be accessed.
But if haven’t translated them, would you be willing to? Just know I’ll have to halt the series at chpt 15 ‘cause I’ve already been spoiled by your amazing translation, so ain’t no way I can continue reading on with a shitty one. Especially considering how judging by your notes, a lot of what they say is just a blatant wrong translation. (Though it sounds like the english mtl used the spanish mtl instead of the og work. Do correct me if I’m wrong, though.)
Also, thank you for taking time to read this and I hope you have / are having a lovely day!

Sis, thank you for liking my translation, however I don't know if you realised, but please always look at the posting dates before asking. I just posted chapter 15 TODAY.

I'm a solo scanlator, and I'm working through it. Its just new chapters from Japan for this manga always has priority. It's almost concurrent. By doing that, I stopped the MTL forever from producing more shitty chapters. They just steal mine instead to post on their website.

Technically I am sorta working backwards. again, I'm not a machine, I also have a day job. I work at the translation at my own pace. The chapters will come out when I complete it. thank you again for liking my translations.

O' wise wild words hater of the lake, what is your wisdom? (Font recs)
:worry:
Frankly, I got none. I've gotten quite lazy with going through my entire font collection to match the vibe of the manga actually.
But honestly, what I do is I just think about what combination of fonts-like the whole thing from dialogue, emphasis, thoughts, narration, small text, etc... suits the specific manga. I tend to like more "compact" fonts because they look tidier and can squeeze more text into the text boxes neatly than "slanty" fonts (you get what I mean right? when it naturally slants (without even in italics) it takes up more space).

Yeahh... I've been using clementine a bit more recently since it's a bit more squarish out of the box, so i can squeeze the letter spacing a bit tighter on those bastard long vertical squares/bubbles. Such a pain in the butt

If i feel really enthusiastic, I'd consider handlettering those kind of text boxes. in the past i even redraw them into horizontal text boxes. but sometimes i think the readers doesn't care lmao its only for our own self satisfaction.
Idk if you know, but there's a professional manga letterer by the name of Sara Linsley, she designs her own manga fonts and they are free to download through her Ko-fi (https://ko-fi.com/salinsley) page. Do cop them if you haven't.
outside of blambot and comicraft, I also use fonts from PintassilgoPrints often. They aren't a foundry specifically for comics/manga, but they have a lot of unique handwritten fonts for effects and emphasis.

Haha, i feel like I've been redrawing nearly half of those vertical boxes/bubbles to make space for me lately, but there isn't always space to expand without cutting into the art. Maybe hand lettering is what i should look into as well

Thanks for the recommendations, I'll check them out

If you have an Ipad, I recommend Adobe Fresco for handlettering (free to use not paid app). Unlike procreate, you get the option of vector brush as well. Sometimes vector lettering look heaps better than pixels (if the effect isn't about those paintbrush look). The sad thing is, the choice of vector brushes are minimal, you would need to make your own custom brushes a lot. As for the pixel brushes, you are able to tap into the huge range of brushes from Adobe. just need an adobe account to download them. again the whole thing is free (very surprising for a bloodsucker like adobe lol)

After you handletter the bits, just export as png or something (i lazy ass so i export to png its good enough to maintain crispness) and bring into photoshop.
