I feel like your aversion to this trope wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't used so often to prolong series, which I 100% agree with, but it's also very normal for someone to not want to commit to a relationship if they feel like they can't put as much time and effort into said relationship as they would want at that moment. This is where the mangaka's absolute lack of relationship experience shines the brightest. What is even "committing to a relationship?" suppose to be? Is she gonna go "Now we are dating, you better free your 8am-5pm slot every day. I will keep attendance"? There is no need for absurd headcannon explanations. Author needs money. Story needs more chapters and 90% of shounen romcom writers literally can not write anything post confession.
You would never hear such a stupid shit from Marin or Gojo.
Honestly? This is your idea of a manga which did not drag far too long with moronic misunderstanding or chickening out?You would never hear such a stupid shit from Marin or Gojo.
Wtf, you must've been reading actually good seriesFor the first time in years, I’m actually considering dropping a seriesthis is seriously getting beyond annoying…
Thats why the dangers in my heart is utter peak. It didn't just end after confession and time skip to them married, it shows all the ups and downs. Sooo much better, specially when you consider that dating is just a starting point, not an end goalThis is where the mangaka's absolute lack of relationship experience shines the brightest.
