I much prefer we always get oneechan scene since she very supportive but of course love to tease her brother ...

And absolutely no need for another guy scene that for some reason mangaka want showing he also very interested making FMC as his despite knowing she have crush with someone else

[Felana]

He's got serious exams coming up (IIRC, they're going to decide which university he can get into) and if they started dating he would spend all his time fucking her brains out get distracted and perform poorly.

In essence, they effectively are a couple already, but because Japan's dating culture (especially in manga etc) is so hung up on formalities, they're being kinda weird about it because it's not official yet.

Yeah, for series like this (where the main couple already spends so much time together and were "really really really really close friends") all that really matters is intent. They both know each other's romantic feelings and intend to be together romantically, so I don't mind the hold off too much. If anything this seems like an excuse for the author to keep things going. This type of series where the characters are already super close and just need to overcome the hurdle of admitting their feelings, struggle to organically continue the story afterwards. I get the feeling this all ends shortly after exam results come out.

It’s not entrance exams though. He’s a second year so they’re probably just semester finals. The problem I have is that if they don’t solve this now or immediately after these exams then what happens during next semester’s exams? Or when he actually has entrance exams next year? Do they just keep this “I’m too busy” limbo forever?

[Friendly-Sentence710]

that's a black cat, right?

Dude just marry that girl right now. Don't wait.

[LordTartaros]

Nah dont let anyone guilt trip you into taking a shift that isn’t yours. Fuck that your personal life is more important.

Thank you for the chapter!
There's a typo on p6 bottom panel: "just sid down and shut up..."

Pretty sure that's an intentional stylization choice rather than a typo:
https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/siddown

Though it's usually stylized like "Siddown and shaddup"
