You know, I’ve been wondering about this for a while, but how many of the people commenting on this manga, now or in the past, have actually been in a situation where they have romantic feelings for a friend? Because I feel like most of you don’t seem to appreciate the absolute terror of messing up a close friendship and making things awkward because you told them you feel that way and they don’t end up feeling the same.

Like, this sort of thing can ruin multi-decade friendships, making someone who used to be completely fine with you uncomfortable or overly conscious of you, which is why it’s completely natural to feel scared about trying to bring it up when you don’t know if the other person feels the same. You people are complaining about them actually acting like real human beings.
