The lack of chapters 1-2 looks strange... it would be good if they added even one page as chapters 1 and 2 with information about reading ONE-Shot first.
Not everyone reads the descriptions under the title or looks at the comments... they see that the first chapters are missing and abandon the topic.

As a reader, I get the feeling that the author has a great sense of knowing what works and what doesn't. I'm hooked not by the romance primarily (given it's a tall order to ask for a new spin on the romance genre tbh), but by the fun vibe and smooth execution of the characters. 9/10 for now.

This might be even more fun than the original two-shot. It makes me smile.

I like that the protagonist isn't the typical "Unpopular loner" but also isn't a super suave popular guy either. He's just a regular ass dude who gets along with both guys and girls

I love this story but I really cannot rate it higher than 7, maximum possible. would've gone with a 6. But the in-between is too adorable.

Why? That sister is too relatable to me. I have a sister just like that, actually worse. real P.I.T.A. :notlikethis:

Why can't you rate it higher than that? 6 is for trash, 7 is also for trash, just a little better. 8 or higher is what you give to stuff you think is good.
If you love this story, why are you giving it trash ratings?

you seem to be incapable of math.
6/10 is above the half.
in a rating system 3-4 is an average percentage.
this makes 6 above average.
not high, yet also not too low.
that implies that 7 "is for trash", is actually a false argument.
I don't know in what kind of world your statement makes any sense. well, aside personal opinions.

Wellllllll… you're both sort of correct.

On the one hand, per the legend that MD offers for the ratings, 5/10 is for things that you find average (ie anything that leaves you completely indifferent), and anything above that is for things you find better than indifferent.

On the other hand, fact is and remains that the median rating across the entirety of the site is around 7.5/10. In other words, any manga rated less than ~7/10 is in the bottom half of ratings, and anything below 5.5 is in the bottom 1%.

I think this is mainly because, most of the time, when a title won't appeal to a specific user, the description is enough to make that known; thus, most below-fives instead turn to no-votes, artificially inflating the ratings.

It’s probably because us humans are kinda dumb and instead of doing 5/10 for an average show we just default to 7/10 as average because we are stupid
