The setting for this manga is very strange. It's like it's trying to be some sort of historical drama on the one hand with nobility, etc. yet the relationships have a very modern feel to them. Like it's kind of unthinkable that a noble lady would ever partake in the old pretend lover trope.

Also, what the heck is up with the speed at which that letter was sent...
