@loliconexe Well, it's more like how Angel Beats was supposed to be (if the episode count weren't cut in half), so it follows the anime, but with more stuff. Since the VN expands on it (and may have things that were originally planned for the anime, but had to be dropped), it's no surprise that they include elements from it.
