Why was she carrying a knife if she planned to hang herself?

A cover with her holding a knife and the angel trying to stop it (by holding it as well) might have looked too ambiguous to the editors. Plus, visually, the hanging rope pretty much automatically conveys the idea we’re talking about su*cide and the angel getting her out of it makes for a way better representation of trying to stop it.

I'd say it just visually represents how desperate/determined she is to finish it off (hence the multiple methods shown in the picture), but is constantly stopped by the angel trying to persuade her into picking reincarnation

same thoughts! it's a really nice idea for an actual series that could be continued every chapter considering there may be some events and possible occurence that expands the story a lot.

i'm kinda wish this gets a serialisation, at least but ig that's not really over 50% likely 😢
