i'd like to remind them about this which has been in the to-implement list for who knows how long(since before this thread was created), and is long overdue, with the recent external links categorisation update, with which anilist/other external links were supposed to be implemented alongside.

You haven't answered my question, which question is relevant because you are badgering them.

Let's say that there were the appearance that you were successful in badgering them. How would that affect the behavior of other participants who wanted some planned (or at least unrejected) suggestion to be implemented?

Even if the administrators will indefinitely allow you to badger them, your badgering makes it more costly for them to implement the feature sooner rather than later. The best thing that they can do, so long as you badger them, is to drag their feet if they are not otherwise delayed.

So there's a four-letter abbreviation for what you should do now. 😉

i believe it's a simple mistake, where they were going to implement it in the last update but forgot. this reminder should serve to keep it in their short term memory as this implementation should not be technically hard. They've been dragging their feet for 7+ months. I don't think it will be productive if they are allowed to forget about these features, and I do believe that reminding them is more productive than the alternative. So no, I won't stop.

Thanks for the reminder! I need to ask the Kitsu dev for an updated mapping.

Recent infrastructure upgrades/dealing with DDoS/drama have put this to the back of my mind, but as we have now entered a very stable period, I'll do this sooner than later once I have an updated mapping.
