Oh my god it was so obvious that the president was a clownfish in retrospect. It was obvious from his first panel appearance. The stupid hand fan he carried around has a clownfish pattern, but it's not evident unless you know what a clownfish looks like offhand since there's no color. That's a great way to introduce a (somewhat) reasonable genderswap mechanism. Aoi is also infectiously cheerful, so his/her aura is a positive one. A little annoying, but good overall.

Also, I'm fairly certain the genderswap is a one-way ticket, unless Aoi can just randomly turn back into a guy when not being #1. Wouldn't surprise me if that was a recurring gag down the line.
