@KakumeiNoHi Good point. I was just trying to be uncharacteristically positive (I'm usually a Negative Nancy...lol). And I really hate it when they drop the "kill the gay" trope bomb. And yuri bait is the worst!

The most recent one I read was Shoujo Junrei (Girl Like A Pilgrim) and while I enjoyed the story, the yuri tag was a joke and the ending left me completely disappointed.

So yeah, I feel you. I know I'm leery of most new yuri mangas lately.

not gonna lie, I have put way too many mangas on hold because I'm not willing to spend more than 10 chapters/weeks on something that's looks very strongly like a bait, I'd rarher binge the entire thing once it's confirmed than waste my time on it...monthly released manga I don't even start anymore until a year later and even then I check in with the comments first, I just don't have any patience for stuff like that anymore
