It's better like this, cause the author likes to take their time to write it (eg a few years ago they took a big break cause they wanted to work on something else) and there's also no risk of it getting cancelled.

The only reasons for something to be published in an "official" capacity is reach/recognition/money, but the author seems satisfied enough with things on all of those aspects as it is right now (though I'm sure they wouldn't complain about getting more support, ofc, and people should do it if they have the means to).

With that said... Maaaaaaan, I got all excited for a new chapter, but it's basically just an extra lol. The wait continues... (I'm kinda used to it, I've been following for several years now).
