Not only was their characters acting out of character, and on top of the fact that Julian got powers out of nowhere, Julian also changed three times, At first it look like he wanted to mind control the monster girls and turn them into his harem , then The author changed him into a villain that wants everyone to be in Despair because he gets off on it, then he gets changed into a villain that wants to bring the mc his harem to Despair out of revenge for his past defeat. It's like the author could not Decide whattype of villain he wanted Julian to be.

It sucks because the premise of the story and plot points on paper are good, but it’s so ham-fisted to the point there’s absolutely no investment.

Thank god this seems to be monthly. It gives me even more of a reason to just mindlessly click through each chapter.

I know that "huge titty monster girls" is the whole draw, but that panel of Claudia dashing off with her huge boobs swinging around just...can't be taken seriously. Making characters fetish material is fine if your goal is a fetish work, but you can't just take that design and try to put it in a serious context without it being awkward.

Also, if Drako's real name was Radon, why didn't people (who presumably used to know her?!) use that instead of "Drako"? Is there some plot point I'm forgetting that would make that make sense? Her introduction to the story was so messy to begin with.

Man, this arc sucks. Villain can do anything, control most of the characters, and no one is smart enough to actually deal with him. So how do we defeat him? He... lets everyone do what they want? I still don't understand how no one thought it was weird how no one thought to actually figure out what was going on when the girls weren't acting like themselves around A GUY THAT MAKES DRUGS!

These last 14 chapters really soured my opinion on the series, and I hope it can move on to a more interesting and enjoyable arc asap.. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if this arc was leading to the end since I can't think of what long-term conflict could come after this.

Fuck that shit. it is a poor writing arc. i HOPE the author learns something from this and improves. no more Mary sue/gary stu villain/hero and BS explanation.
i am sorry though to rant so much. i am just so annoyed with this arc.
Nah preach lol, this arc is horrific.

The start of the arc having everyone be fine with the completely stupid reasoning for sensei to leave. His response to the obvious setup is even more idiotic. The entire world treating the clear setup as something in anyway reasonable or not worth a basic level of investigation or further thought is the worst part.

If a third rate villain is going to do third rate villain things then sure cool, if the same world and formerly sane characters are going to pretend that's not what's happening then it gets very unsatisfying. This villain is awful in combat and writing, the behaviour of the MC over the course of this arc is just idiotic.

Freedom soon, please.

Thanks for the TL.

Just a nickname I guess? Like they do in Monster Musume by Okayado

Just kill Julius's horrocrux

Yeah, it won't be that easy until Sensei arrives to deal with it

Julius framing the mc should not have worked, the mc has to much power and they had to make the characters act out of character for it to work, the frame up would of made more sense if it was an mc that had a bad reputation or a mc that has no power or influence.

  • Invincible super lich decides to hide their one weakness... beneath the floorboards. I expect it's a trap, but if his phylactery is actually there... 🙄
I mean...that was the moment he actually interrupted them in, wasn't it? When they noticed the floorboards?

Sounds about right he'd put some kind of alarm spell there, and he pulled his trick there to distract them from going down and catching him with his pants down. Seems he isn't as perfect as we thought, or he was particularly overconfident.

Though I'd be glad if that was all it was. From how hard he was getting glazed, it's nice that he would fuck the one thing up for thinking himself as too overly prepared, but thinking about it more logically, placing it within the teacher's barracks gives him a pretty decent range for him to draw power on. Being around the school and close to town, most likely, his effective range (and where he would want to maintain full access to his abilities).

Rimnoa is probably the best part of this manga is the last 10 chapters. I feel like he's the only consistent character.

You guys are still here? I’m honestly impressed people are still reading it after the author killed it at 31 or something. You guys are troopers. Last section of last panel of 31 summed up my opinion of the author and manga.

Someone reacted to one of my comments reminding me this story exists, feels like this is the final arc since the author nuked it the series with the whole NTR villain.
