Damn all that tea table talk discussed nothing. Not a single convo about confirming the questions they talked about when going back to the inn.

Can't even run away from the usual unproductive corpo meeting in isekai bruh :kek:

Thank you for the chapter. Glad this one's still going (because that means the author's well-enough to do so!) - as much as this was more a "resting beat" in the narrative in terms of events progressing, having Akira meet up again with old classmates gives a bit of context to where he and they stand with one another and within the world.

It's clear they're still wary of him, and likely he of them as well--but that's to be expected. Hopefully the group's unified enough that even with the dissenters who feel they can't trust Akira still, they won't "go rogue" and do something dumb, either against Akira or acting on their own and causing a ruckus on this continent that will strain things politically or just generally make it difficult for Akira to operate, due to "association & proximity".
Next chapter might focus on Akira's thoughts as he talks with his companions about this reunion, and what their next plans should be. If they hang around for a "follow-up", or keep moving to try and make tracks on the next leg of their path, leaving the Hero & Co. to play catch-up...well, we shall see.

But, thanks for the TL. Enjoying this one immensely, as it's a bit more dense, narrative-wise, than the average Isekai, which I quite like.

What do you mean it's perfectly productive, they held a meeting to confirm that they need to hold a meeting to discuss the formation of a committee to discuss the problem.

You could just watch the anime, it ended further along than the manga currently is.

Now I'm curious if the manga will continue adapting novel material after where the anime ended, or if it'll just stop there. (Personally I'm hoping for the former, esp. if somehow the anime never gets a S2.)

For context, the anime covered the 1st 3 novels and a bit of book 4's start (iirc the manga is now near the end of Book 2).

Vol 5 came out in Japan last September 2025, while Vol 6 is still a work in progress in webnovel format (author updates chapters weekly).

Thank you for the chapter. Glad this one's still going (because that means the author's well-enough to do so!) - as much as this was more a "resting beat" in the narrative in terms of events progressing, having Akira meet up again with old classmates gives a bit of context to where he and they stand with one another and within the world.

As someone who's following the webnovel, I also enjoy it too. Granted it has shortcomings - the writing quality could get very amateurish and some parts were not thought out well (ex. the elf continent arc with Amelia's sister), but certain plot ideas and the foundational premise are quite solid, and there's a very clear end goal for the story.

Fortunately for the story so far,
Tsukasa's group is unified enough so no one goes rogue or tried sabotage Akira or others.

You start off saying you can't trust Oda, albeit not completely, then segway to his dagger being used in the stabbing of Saran...so just WHAT did you mean Ueno? :cautious:

Taking a step back, Waki and Ueno seem to be the extroverted types who think earnestness solves everything, while unconsciously, even unknowingly, fail to consider what the other person might be thinking, or how they might be perceiving them. Then shat themselves when their standards don't apply, and have no clue what happened.

Hm, a lot was said, but not much resolved....hopefully the two parties can work up some trust between each other eventually.

And they actually brought up an interesting point here....it's been established that Oda has a struggling family back home that he must provide for through side jobs, and he wants to return to them....yet he has the elf girl who he's bonded with and will fall in love with him eventually, so what happens to that? She cannot live in his world since she stands out, and then there's the fact that she'll more than likely outlive him by millennia....talk about star crossed lovers

Hm, lots of complications and angst....will be interesting to see how everything is resolved

It is good one
I just keep remembering Arifureta and how infuriating some of the classmates are.
All members of Tsukasa party are reasonable. All the discussions seem pretty on point and chill.
Still believe they are going to go separate ways but at least Tsukasa can move toward more productive direction.

That's a very good question, since not even the WN has an answer for this dilemma yet.

Yeah, like, that's the biggest question living rent free in my head all the time, it directly conflicts with his goal of getting home, and unless they use some magic she WILL outlive him by eons

There is some world building in the WN that could provide clues as to how they are going to handle that issue -
it is hinted that Morrigan's races might have evolved from humans isekai'd there long ago. A possibility is that Amelia is turned into a human which will solve the outliving issue.
