Hmmm that master lady seems to be the only “decent” person from that group, at least so far.

Seems to be the only one who could rein in the pig's violent tyranny, too. That apology of hers wasn't out of sincerity, but straight-up getting blackmailed for abusing the authority behind her family's name.

That 'master' may be one of the few who can really give that pig the humbling slap of reality she needs that MC can't seem to provide, not after how many times he has coldly shot her down. Despite that, the master doesn't seem to be invested in convincing the pig's grandfather to give up on bringing MC back, if that's who she was referring to before she dragged the pig out. I don't know where she currently stands, but she must be intervening like this out of her own interests, somehow.

Yeah, though he has broke away from the chains binding her to the pig, he hasn't broke away from the habits that came with being trained to serve. He may have his reasons for following along, whether he realizes them or not, but if he had enough discernment to realize being 'friends' with the pig is not worth it, I'm hoping he'll learn to discern what it means to act of his own will soon, as well as how vague it is to live 'normally' when there is no agreement to define what that really means.
