C'mon, this was just cheesy plot armor.

You can clearly see the goalkeeper is closer to the opposite side of the goal & corner shot. Yet, somehow, someway he not only got an entire hand on a ball that was close to the corner, but was also able to get his whole body behind it so he could land in front of the post.

No way, absolutely not, at best he should have crashed into the post if you wanted me to consider this was even a slightly believable save.

The first save was amazing enough, but the second? A shot straight to the angle right after a deflection, he doesn't just deflect it, but he CAPTURES it. That's fucking bullshit. Worst chapter in a while.

GK in football manga tend to be plot devices. They'll do what the story needs them to do. They'll let straight shots from 30 meters in while saving shots like these. Oh well... more drama next week
