Most people have not read slam dunk. It's an older series and takes a while to get goodIt's crazy how no one has seen the parallels to the slam dunk ending yet. I think the same thing is gonna happen here.
I'd agree if not for the fact the manga id ending. It might be a career ending injury after he goes for a play he shouldn't go for.Bro his legs are simply shaking from exhaustion. That's what happens when you run too much. Look at how the lines are drawn. It's not his knee that is the focus, it's his calves. Have you never done real cardio before?
I literally called this months ago. You can go back in the comments. I talk about how he's been sprinting at full speed too much. How he wasn't mentally overwhelmed, he was physically overwhelmed for probably an hour in-game now, while also trying to "figure out" how to deal with Barca.
He got to the mental answer, but he doesn't have the kind of physical monster stats that Akutsu and Kuribayashi have yet. He's only been playing seriously for a little over a year now. You're not supposed to have to run at full speed this much in a single football match, and the people that do train day in and day out to do it.
Ashito will be fine. The author isn't going to give him a lifelong injury here. The entire reason the author had them fight Barca in the first round, instead of later, is so that they could level up a lot and then lose.
I literally called the flow of this ENTIRE match months ago. The only thing I was wrong about was how long Damien would be on the field--I thought he'd show up later and they'd only have a couple minutes of surpassing him and then it'd be barely too late to catch up. Instead they had him show up really early so that Japan could actually catch up but then lose in the last few minutes.
I don't think so. He said get ready like he knew the goalie was about to do something special. Just hoping they pull it off and don't end in a draw or lose through a mistake.Damn even though they just created a comeback it seems his leg won't make it.
Was thinking the same thing. He pushes himself too much and from the beginning he doesn't pace himself well. He has this incredible stamina. He never uses it well. They already saved from a serious leg injury in that previous tournament that the coach saved him from. It would be crazy, if this ends with him never realizing his true potential b/c of injury. That would be a story to tell. I don't want to see that. I want to see him climb to the top.I'd agree if not for the fact the manga id ending. It might be a career ending injury after he goes for a play he shouldn't go for.
It’s almost a 1-1 parallel. I’ve been comparing this to slam dunk for so long as a more realistic manga and it’s crazy the direction it’s heading towardsIt's crazy how no one has seen the parallels to the slam dunk ending yet. I think the same thing is gonna happen here.
