if they win, i am very happy if that it how the manga ends. they could lose to real like what happened in slam dunk where they lose to another good team, just don't show that.

Turns out I should have waited another month or two to read this match. Was shocked to read in the comments that this is the final arc of the series... I genuinely felt like the author was setting stuff up for future storylines (training arc with the veteran, Fukuda promising he'll be Esperion's manager with Ashito on the team, Rindou's introduction). But at the same time... This game is peak of juniors. So perhaps we're getting a sequel series? Or maybe all that set-up is just there for whatever the epilogue is. In any case. These last minutes of the match reminded me why I got so into Ao Ashi. "All this time, I've been playing within the confines of your imagination. (..) Give me command." Shivers! Love me a protag who's drawn with expressions that belong in Tokyo Ghoul lmao This game can go either way, the only way I'll be upset is if Ashito gets injured. It's what I feared when he looked at his trembling legs, but I'm gonna assume that's just exhaustion,,, Please,,, Don't make him Hana's first patient...
